TITTLE: IT INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECT MANAGER
LOCATION: ATLANTA, GA (ONSITE)



Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled IT Infrastructure Project Manager to lead, plan, and execute complex infrastructure-related initiatives spanning telecommunications, network/network security, server, cloud, and wireless. This role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in IT infrastructure and excellent project management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
Plan and manage end-to-end delivery of IT infrastructure projects (on-prem, cloud, hybrid environments).
Coordinate across cross-functional teams including engineers, system admins, vendors, and business stakeholders.
Define project business requirements, scope, goals, timelines, resource needs, risks, and deliverables.
Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.
Prepare and maintain project documentation (plans, RAID logs, reports, post-mortems).
Identify and mitigate risks, and manage issues as they arise.
Clearly communicate status updates to leadership and stakeholders through reports and meetings.
Ensure infrastructure deployments meet compliance, security, and performance requirements.
Work closely with procurement and vendors for sourcing and delivery of infrastructure components.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of experience in IT project management with a focus on infrastructure projects.
Strong understanding of infrastructure domains: networks, servers, storage, virtualization, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), and data centers.
Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana, Smartsheet).
Familiarity with ITIL framework and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:
PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification.
ITIL Foundation certification.
Extensive experience managing network, server, and telecommunications related projects.
Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
