A top-10 AmLaw firm is seeking an Employment Transactions Attorney to join its Corporate/Private Equity Practice in Atlanta as part of a Professional Track Attorney program . This is a high-impact opportunity for a motivated litigator to manage sophisticated matters and provide strategic counsel in a dynamic, fast-paced practice.

Candidate Profile

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
• Active Bar Admission in Georgia , in good standing
• 2–4 years of substantive labor & employment law experience
• Experience handling company-side employment matters , including research , counseling , and contract drafting
• Demonstrated interest in employment-related components of corporate transactions , including M&A diligence
• Strong analytical, research, and written communication skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to organize complex information efficiently
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team environment
• Professionalism, responsiveness, and sound judgment in client-facing interactions

Key Responsibilities

• Lead employment-related diligence for M&A and private equity transactions
• Analyze employment , benefits , and workforce issues arising during transactional reviews
• Draft and review employment-related contracts and provisions , including restrictive covenants and offer materials
• Conduct legal research and prepare clear, well-reasoned memoranda for partners and clients
• Address day-to-day employment counseling questions for corporate clients
• Collaborate closely with partners, associates, and professional track attorneys across practice areas
• Support client initiatives through timely, accurate, and strategic work product
• Assist with pro bono matters and contribute to the firm’s broader community-engagement efforts

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive Compensation : Annual base salary is expected to range from $150,000 – $300,000 , depending on experience, qualifications, and market factors
