Industrial Conveyor Systems Field Technician

What you’ll tackle

• Install, vulcanize, and service lightweight conveyor belting on-site and in-house.
• Fabricate and repair belts and belt components using precise measurements and shop tools.
• Receive, verify, and stock incoming materials; pick, pack, and ship outbound orders.
• Coordinate pickups with carriers and couriers; create and maintain shipment records and databases, including returns.
• Flag discrepancies such as over-shipments or substitutions to your supervisor.
• Pick up and deliver orders, stock, and supplies as needed.
• Work safely, follow procedures, use PPE correctly, and keep work areas clean and orderly.

The details

• Hours: Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm (occasional overtime and weekend work)
• Pay: $19–$20/hour
• Must wear steel toe boots

What you’ll need to succeed

• Strong mechanical aptitude; fast learner; maintenance or belt tech experience is a plus.
• Shipping/receiving experience with excellent organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret precise measurements with a tape measure; solid basic math and computer skills.
• Adaptability and strong written/verbal communication.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs., work at heights and in tight spaces; willingness to work overtime/weekends as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Where you’ll work

Our environment includes moving mechanical equipment and can be loud. You’ll use your hands, arms, back, and shoulders frequently, operate equipment controls with manual dexterity, and spend long stretches standing, bending, kneeling, or sitting.
