Job Title: Registered Nurse - Acute Care Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 17 weeks Shift: 12 Hours Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years in specialty License: Required Certifications: BLS (AHA), NIHSS Must-Have: ACLS preferred Description: Strict 75-mile radius rule applies. Ideal candidates must have experience with high acuity, high turnover, and fast-paced environments. Nurses are expected to handle a typical patient ratio of 1:6 for both day and night shifts. Experience in the following areas is necessary: diabetes, CHF, COPD, GI bleed, renal failure, and dialysis. Knowledge of wound care, DVTs, and post-surgical patient care is required. Patient safety and quality of care are of the utmost importance. Candidates should be open to rotation with permanent staff and work every other weekend. Nurses should be able to manage CPAP and BiPAP devices. Nail policies require polished nails only; no artificial or shellac nails due to infection control protocols. Primary care nursing principles should be followed. Strict attendance policy is enforced. Nurses will have access to a locker system for personal items. Candidates with experience from larger organizations are preferred. Charting system used is MEDITECH. No bags are allowed at the nursing station. CNA support is available with a general ratio of 1:12. This role does not require nurses to read cardiac strips but does involve monitoring on different units if needed. About Cynet Health
