Travel Surgical Tech Job

Healthforce by TLC
Atlanta, GA
Take on a transformative role as a Surgical Tech in Georgia, Atlanta, where your meticulous skill and calm presence behind the scenes translate into safer surgeries and faster recoveries for patients. This opportunity begins on 04/06/2026 and unfolds as a flexible week‑to‑week assignment with guaranteed 40 hours per week, offering a steady rhythm in a high‑impact setting. As you move through operating rooms across a thriving medical corridor, you’ll see the tangible outcomes of your work—from sterile fields prepared to perfection to rapid instrument delivery that keeps teams in lockstep. Beyond the OR, you’ll discover a state whose beauty lifts every shift: stroll the historic streets of Savannah, soak in the mountain air of the Blue Ridge, or unwind on a Georgia coast at sunset; the region rewards your dedication with memorable places to explore after your shifts.

Location benefits: Atlanta stands as a premier health care metropolis with leading hospitals, interprofessional collaboration, and opportunities to connect with mentors and peers across specialties. You’ll gain exposure to diverse surgical cases, state‑of‑the‑art technologies, and streamlined workflows that sharpen your practice. The chance to work in other locations within the United States with our company opens doors to new facilities, patient communities, and professional relationships that broaden your clinical perspective while you keep your 40 hours per week solidly guaranteed. The blend of urban culture and southern hospitality creates an environment where professional growth and personal well‑being go hand in hand.

Role specifics and benefits: In this Surgical Tech role, you’ll support the surgical team from pre‑op setup through post‑op cleanup. Responsibilities include preparing the sterile field, arranging and passing instruments, assisting with gowning and draping, maintaining instrument counts, anticipating instrument needs, and ensuring patient safety and aseptic technique in every case. You’ll collaborate with surgeons, scrub nurses, circulating nurses, and anesthesia teams to anticipate challenges, manage equipment, and help maintain operating room efficiency. The position offers a clear path for professional growth within the surgical tech specialty, with opportunities to expand your scope through cross‑training, specialty rotations, and exposure to new procedures. Weekly pay ranges from $1,426 to $1,438, with guaranteed 40 hours and the potential for contract extensions to fit your career plan. Benefits are competitive and designed to support your success: a bonus program, housing assistance, and options for contract extensions to align with your long‑term ambitions. Our program is built to adapt to your needs, with the flexibility to advance as you demonstrate expertise and leadership in the OR. In addition, you will receive comprehensive support, including 24/7 assistance from our travel team while you’re on assignment, ensuring you’re never alone on the road and always backed by a responsive, knowledgeable partner.

Company values: Our organization is grounded in empowering staff—placing your career advancement, well‑being, and professional dignity at the center of every decision. We cultivate a supportive work environment where skilled technicians are valued as essential members of the care team, with mentorship, ongoing education, and clear pathways to broaden your impact across settings and specialties. We believe in transparent communication, equitable opportunities, and recognizing your contributions as you deliver comfort and safety to patients and families.

Call to action: If you’re ready to elevate your surgical tech career, apply now to join a company that prizes your expertise and invests in your growth. This is a dynamic chance to shape patient outcomes, gain exposure to varied environments, and enjoy the security of guaranteed hours with weekly compensation in the 1400s range, alongside a supportive network that travels with you.
