Automotive Warranty Compliance Auditor (Field-Based) | Southeast

Confidential Recruiting Partners
Atlanta, GA

Our client is seeking experienced automotive professionals with strong warranty claims and dealership fixed‑operations knowledge to support a nationwide warranty compliance program. This position focuses on reviewing dealership warranty claim submissions, validating documentation, and ensuring adherence to OEM warranty policies.

This is not a traditional corporate audit role as the ideal candidate comes from a dealership environment and understands repair orders, labor ops, parts coding, and warranty submission workflows.

The role is field‑based and requires regional travel to franchised dealerships.

Onsite | No Visa Sponsorship | No Relocation Assistance

Compensation: $33–$38/hr. (based on experience and region)

Contract Duration: 1–2 years, with potential for contract‑to‑hire | W2

Work Schedule: Varies by region, dealership hours, and travel requirements

Work Environment & Travel:

  • Company‑provided vehicle
  • Regional travel within 6‑hour radius
  • Hotel reimbursement when travel exceeds 90 minutes from home

Locations: Atlanta, GA | Florida (multiple markets)

Responsibilities:

  • Review and validate dealership warranty claim submissions for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with OEM warranty policies.
  • Examine repair order documentation, labor operations, parts usage, and diagnostic procedures.
  • Identify incorrect or noncompliant claims and initiate corrections or chargebacks when appropriate.
  • Prepare and deliver summaries of findings, including claim review reports and compliance notifications.
  • Communicate with dealership service management and warranty personnel to clarify issues and provide guidance.
  • Identify recurring trends, documentation gaps, or training needs within assigned dealerships.
  • Support dealership teams with best practices for warranty documentation and claim submission.
  • Collaborate with regional and corporate teams to ensure consistent application of warranty policies.
  • Assist with additional dealership network initiatives as needed (facility reviews, process checks, etc.)

Qualifications (Must-Haves)

  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office/O365.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to travel regionally (company vehicle provided)
  • Labor operations, parts coding, sublet, and diagnostic workflows.
  • Comfortable working independently and managing a field‑based schedule.
  • Strong understanding of: Repair Order Documentation, OEM Warranty Rules and Policies.
  • 5+ years of automotive dealership experience in one or more of the following areas: Warranty Administration, Service Advisor/Service Writer, Warranty Clerk/Warranty Analyst, Fixed Operations/Service Department.
