Homebuilder
A single family home builder headquartered in Lawrenceville, Georgia. With thousands of homes built in the metro area over the years we have a solid reputation for specializing in modern designs and open floor plans at affordable prices. Peachtree Building Group is actively building communities in many desirable locations throughout metropolitan Atlanta.
We are currently seeking a Homebuilder in various locations throughout metro Atlanta.
Responsibilities:
- Manages all phases of on-site construction without supervision including communications with home office, city inspectors, etc. while managing staff and subcontractors throughout construction process.
- Qualifies, schedules subcontractors.
- Conducts inspections of each house to evaluate progress and compliance with company safety and quality standards in addition to any relevant agency standards.
- Oversees time line of each house construction and adjusts resources as needed to resolve construction completion delays and ensure timely and accurate submission of and approval of invoices.
- Maintains and keeps up to date and complete records on all construction processes.
- Manages model home/on-site trailer in construction areas, including home sites under construction, completed but unsold house sites, vacant lots and communities as a whole.
- Maintains BMP’s (Best Management Practices) on a daily basis.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- 10 years of practical home building experience with most of experience working as a subcontractor.
- Knowledge of all phases of new home construction and building methodologies, manufacturer’s specifications, local codes, Federal, State and Company safety regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, architectural drawings, floor plans.
- Ability to think conceptually and apply practical solutions.
- Capabilities to self-start, display solid work ethic and aspire to move ahead.
- Organizational and management skills; critical thinking and prioritization abilities; ability to recognize and solve problems.
Preferred Skills and Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in construction or related field.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- Level 1-A Soil and Erosion certificate (Blue Card).
