Starting Rate of pay: $25.25/HR

Shifts Available and Hours:

12-Hour Continental Day Shift

6:00 AM – 6:00 PM

What you will be doing

  • Responsible for staging and mixing of paint for application.
  • Back-up painter when necessary.
  • Route maintenance of paint line equipment.
  • Support PM Requirements.
  • Completion of check sheets.
  • Preparation of paint for application.
  • Physical and visual checks on metal entering and exiting paint room.
  • Managing hazardous waste according to state and federal regulations.
  • Operation of Forklift.

What will make you successful?

Required Education/Experience:

  • Knowledge of paint processes.
  • Mobile Equipment Certification required (or the ability to attain this certification through Hydro training as per the Mobile Equipment Policy.
  • Must have ability and willingness to move into Painter role within six months.
  • Must be able to successfully pass pulmonary/respiratory testing.
  • Must have ability to push, pull, and maneuver heavy drums (up to 250 pounds) of paint on a regular basis with a partner.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year’s experience in manufacturing.
  • HSD / GED preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • Team player; Self-starter.
  • Adaptable to change.
