About the Role:
Join PARK EAST ACADEMY INC as a Montessori Primary Guide in Atlanta, GA, where you will inspire young minds through a child-centered approach to education. We are seeking a passionate educator who values creativity and independence in learning, fostering a nurturing environment for our students.
- Develop and implement engaging Montessori curriculum for primary-aged children.
- Facilitate a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration.
- Observe and assess student progress, adapting lessons to meet individual needs.
- Collaborate with parents and staff to promote student development and success.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and stimulating classroom space.
- Encourage independence and self-discipline in students through guided activities.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
- Foster a love of learning and respect for others in all classroom interactions.
- Montessori certification for primary education is required.
- Experience working in a Montessori setting required.
- Strong understanding of child development and Montessori principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
- Commitment to ongoing professional growth and collaboration.
- First Aid and CPR certification is a plus.
- Passion for education and nurturing young learners.
