Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Grinder to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machining and be proficient in operating grinding machines to produce high-quality components. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to perform quality inspections to ensure that all products meet specifications.

Duties:

• Operate grinding machines to shape and finish metal components according to specifications.
• Conduct quality inspections using calipers and other measuring tools to verify dimensions and tolerances.
• Perform basic math calculations to determine machining parameters and adjustments.
• Utilize tooling effectively for various grinding operations.
• Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles in machining processes.
• Collaborate with CNC operators and milling machine technicians for seamless production workflows.
• Maintain equipment by performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
• Ensure a clean and safe work environment by following all safety protocols.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in machining or a related field, with a focus on grinding operations.
• Strong mechanical knowledge, including familiarity with electrical discharge machining techniques.
• Proficiency in using calipers and other precision measuring instruments for quality inspection.
• Basic math skills for calculating dimensions, tolerances, and adjustments.
• Understanding of tooling requirements for various grinding tasks.
• Knowledge of GD&T principles is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
