Travel Registered Nurse ICU Job

Overview
Registered Nurse – ICU travel assignment in Atlanta, GA starting 05/18/2026 for 8 weeks. Weekly pay range: $1,658–$1,755 per week with 36 guaranteed hours. Shift: 2x3 Nights. This position supports an acute care environment with float coverage to multiple critical care units and related departments.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct, evidence-based nursing care to critically ill adults in the ICU and during float to other critical care areas as needed (ER, ER holds, MTC/Step-Down, PACU).
- Monitor patient status continuously, titrate medications within scope, manage IVs and monitor devices as trained.
- Perform bedside assessments, respond to changes in patient condition, and escalate appropriately.
- Administer treatments and medications per physician orders and facility policy; assist with procedures within scope of practice.
- Document all care and patient response in the EPIC EMR; collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality care.
- Adhere to infection control protocols, patient safety standards, and compliance guidelines while maintaining minimal RTO as required.

Requirements
- Current RN license in Georgia or eligibility to obtain; active licensure required to practice in the assignment state
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of ICU/critical care nursing experience in a facility of similar size
- Experience with EPIC EMR preferred
- Ability to float to multiple units including ICU, ER, ER holds, MTC/Step-Down, PACU as needed
- Availability to work the 2x3 Night shift; minimal time off requested (RTO)
