Experienced Handyman / Carpenter – $25–$45/hr | Company Van, PTO, 401(k)

Location: Augusta, GA (Mr. Handyman of West Augusta – Thomson)

Employment Type: Full-time | Year-round work

About the Role

Mr. Handyman of West Augusta – Thomson is looking for a skilled, reliable craftsman to join our professional home-improvement team. If you take pride in quality work, value customer satisfaction, and want a company that respects your time and expertise, this is the place for you.

You’ll handle a variety of carpentry, drywall, and general home repair projects — with full office support, steady booked jobs, and a team that’s got your back.

Pay and Compensation

• Starting Pay: $25/hour or commission (whichever is higher) during your first 30 days
• Performance Pay: 24% of labor revenue + 10% of material gross profit (GP)
• Admin Pay: $25/hour for meetings, training, and non-billable tasks
• Estimate Pay: $25 for each estimate completed with due diligence
• Typical Earnings: $1,000–$1,500 per week based on performance
• Pay Schedule: Bi-weekly direct deposit

We supply the leads, scheduling, and materials — you focus on delivering quality work.

What You’ll Do

• Perform residential and light commercial repairs and improvements
• Complete carpentry, drywall, trim, and general home maintenance projects
• Deliver outstanding customer service and communicate clearly with clients
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment and company vehicle

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 10 years of professional carpentry, home repair, or remodeling experience
• Strong skills in drywall repair, door and trim work, and general home improvement
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
• Self-motivated, dependable, and takes pride in craftsmanship
