Customer Delivery Logistics Leader

Position Overview:
Hunter Douglas is looking for a customer delivery logistics professional to support implementation of process and technology strategy for the newly created North American Logistics & Customer Delivery team. The position will be the driver of governing processes and leading improvement efforts including systems implementation(eg: TMS, Control Tower, Supplier Management systems, etc) and really focus on the final mile. The candidate will have experience with ECommerce, 4PL, and RFP. The candidate will work closely with key stakeholders and service providers to ensure optimization across our North American Logistics team.
What you'll do
- Customer-facing logistics professional to advance our small parcel, LTL, pool, and courier shipping capabilities for the North American Logistics & Distribution team.
- Drive value by improving processes, partner selection, & analytics.
- Collaborate with Hunter Douglas' 4PL partner, service providers, and other stakeholders (ie- Customer Service, Sales, eCommerce, Network Design, & Operations) to both develop and execute our final mile logistics strategy.
- Focus on the Final Mile and optimize current final mile processes.
- Manage Logistics Projects and meet deadlines.
- All other duties as assigned
Who you are
- Bachelor's degree in Operations, Supply Chain/Logistics, or Business Administration Or +12 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience working with a 4PL and/or implementing a TMS (required)
- Working knowledge of DOT regulations
- Multi-modal logistics experience
- Demonstrates organizational awareness and uses influence effectively to promote positive change
- Ability to travel approximately 20%
