Administrative Coordinator (BHCC)

Highland Rivers Behavioral Health provides treatment and recovery services to individuals impacted by mental illness, substance use disorders and intellectual developmental disabilities.
Highland Rivers is seeking an Adminisitrative Coordinator for the Behavioral Health Crisis Center in Cobb County.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
GENERAL :
- Conduct all professional activity in an ethical manner.
- Conform to all applicable Agency policies and procedures.
- In conjunction with other staff assist in identifying and eliminating any situation which puts at risk the health and/or safety of clients, staff, or others who come in contact with site operations.
- Utilize Relias training, literature, workshops, and other training aids to continually improve managerial and administrative skills.
- Assist in assuring Agency compliance with all related licensing and accreditation requirements.
- Maintain licensure/credentials by completing all recommended continuing education requirements.
- Other responsibilities and tasks as may be assigned.
DIRECT SERVICE :
- Coordinates business operations, supplies and provides administrative support to management team and the activities of BHCC.
- Oversee the recruitment, orientation, and training of access specialists and admin support staff.
- Coordinates with training department train related staff in Mindset, BLS, and Defensive Driving.
- Completes timesheets, monitors time and attendance, and assists with scheduling for all departments when necessary. Assists management team with preparing disciplinary action related to time and attendance.
- Specifically manages routine business/administrative functions for the BHCC, such as vendors, 3rd party contracts, telecommunications, IT projects, building maintenance, purchasing, supplies/inventory, property control, etc.
- Monitors and assesses the day-to-day financial operations of BHCC (p-card or petty cash usage) and gives monthly report to Highland Rivers accounts receivable and reports in daily operations meeting as needed.
- Directly supervises access specialists and admin support staff by directing their daily activities, providing training and conducting performance evaluations.
- Monitors and assesses day-to-day business operations of BHCC department, facility, and educational and training aspects for assigned staff.
- Ensures department staff maintain confidentiality for all indirect/direct service in accordance with agency policies and HIPPA policies.
- Supports and coordinates administrative (e.g. set up meetings, assigns admin staff to take minutes as needed, plans events, sets up audio-video, coordinates schedules) operational, and analytical tasks/responsibilities related to BHCC business
- Other responsibilities and tasks as may be assigned
ADMINISTRATIVE :
- Maintain clinical records in accordance with agency policies.
- Ensure timely completion of agency required trainings/workshops.
- Other responsibilities and tasks as may be assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
- Education - Associates degree from an accredited college or university or 5 years' experience
- Licensure/Certification - N/A
- Experience - Minimum 1 years of administrative duties and ability to lead or supervise a team.
- Other - Criminal background check clearance, official academic transcripts, valid driver's license/ID drug screen, TB test, eligible 7 year MVR may be required
