Industrial Electro Mechanics (IEM), a company specializing in the repair and sale of industrial rotating equipment, is seeking a dependable and motivated 1st Shift Delivery Driver to join our team.
This is an intermediate-level role that includes training and opportunities for advancement. A CDL is not required for this position.
ResponsibilitiesMake safety a top priority in all daily tasks
Load flatbed trucks and properly secure equipment for safe transport
Deliver large industrial equipment (up to 14,000 lbs) within a four-hour radius of the Savannah area
Operate forklifts and overhead cranes to move materials
Lift items weighing up to 50 lbs
Maintain a clean and safe fleet of vehicles and report any mechanical or safety concerns to management
Standard work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Work nights and weekends as needed
Overnight trips are rare
1–2 years of experience driving large flatbed vehicles, preferably to industrial facilities
Ability to stay organized and work efficiently in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment
Clean driving record for the past 7 years
Ability to pass a DOT physical
Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
