Project Accountant
What: Responsible for preparing and distributing invoices, managing contracts in the ERP system, monitoring accounts receivable, and assisting with project financial analysis.
When: Full-time position, Monday through Friday, with standard office hours and occasional flexibility as needed.

Position Overview: The Project Accountant plays a crucial role in financial operations, supporting project managers with invoicing, revenue recognition, and client communications. This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to multitask, and proficiency with accounting software. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and distribute invoices while ensuring billing accuracy.
- Maintain project financial records and assist in revenue recognition.
- Monitor accounts receivable and assist in collections.
- Set up and update project contracts within the ERP system.
- Provide financial reports and insights to project managers.
- Assist with vendor documentation and compliance requirements.
- Serve as the first point of contact for billing inquiries.
- Associate’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (Bachelor’s preferred).
- 2-5 years of relevant project or construction accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software (Deltek Vantagepoint preferred).
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills.
