Aerial Construction Laborer

This position is based out of our Austell, Georgia office and services the west side of Atlanta/Georgia.

Position Summary

Works with a crew to build, install, and repair overhead telecom lines. Helps set up job sites, move materials, operate tools, and assist linemen with aerial work. This is a hands-on role for someone who can work outdoors, follow directions, and stay safe on the job.

Key Responsibilities

• Help install and repair aerial fiber optic and coaxial cables on poles.
• Carry, load, and unload tools, equipment, and materials.
• Set up and take down work zones, including safety cones, signs, and barricades.
• Operate basic hand tools and small equipment under foreman direction.
• Assist from the ground or bucket truck with pulling, lashing, and securing cables.
• Keep the work area clean, remove debris, and store unused materials properly.
• Wear PPE and follow all safety rules.
• Check and maintain tools, trucks, and equipment daily.
• Listen to instructions from the foreman or lineman and work as part of the crew.
• Perform other duties as needed to support aerial construction work.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in construction, utilities, or telecom.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather and at heights.
• Able to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work on uneven ground.
• Familiar with power tools and rigging equipment is a plus.
• Willing to travel to job sites and work flexible hours, including overtime.
• Valid driver’s license required; CDL is a plus or willingness to obtain.
• Must pass drug and background checks.
