TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Albany, Georgia, 31701!
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 17 weeks Shift: 12-Hour Nights (Thursday-Saturday or Friday-Sunday) Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ASLS, NIHSS Must-Have: C-section experience required Description: The role involves working in a medical surgical setting with the flexibility to change assignments during shifts. The nurse-to-patient ratio typically is 1:6. Nurse aides are available on the unit. Weekend work is required on an every-other-weekend basis. Call requirements are low due to census. Holiday shifts are rotated with permanent staff. Scrubs will be Caribbean Blue in color. Telemetry monitoring is available on different units. Vents such as BIPAP and CPAP are utilized. There is an in-house neonatologist. An IV team is not present, but PICC services are available 24/7. Pharmacy services are available around the clock. Shifts are from 6:45 PM for 12 hours. The position may involve floating to other areas as needed. Common diagnoses include a variety of medical-surgical conditions. The facility accommodates flexible assignment changes during shifts.
