Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced School Psychologist to provide comprehensive psychological services to students through our remote learning platform. This role involves serving a caseload of approximately 44-54 students across elementary, middle, and high school levels while maintaining 35-37.5 hours of weekly direct service and collaborative activities.

The position emphasizes evidence-based assessment and intervention practices, crisis response capabilities, and collaborative consultation with educational teams. You'll work with students presenting diverse learning, behavioral, and emotional needs while utilizing virtual platforms to deliver effective psychological services and maintain therapeutic relationships.

Service Delivery Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities include conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations for special education eligibility determination, providing individual and group counseling services addressing academic and behavioral concerns, and developing targeted intervention plans based on assessment findings. You'll facilitate virtual consultation sessions with teachers and families, participate in eligibility conferences and IEP meetings, and provide crisis intervention services as needed.

Additional duties encompass creating and implementing behavioral support plans, conducting risk assessments and safety planning, providing professional development training to educational staff, and maintaining detailed documentation of all psychological services. You'll also coordinate with community mental health resources, provide family education and support, and participate in systemic consultation to improve school-wide mental health practices.

Certification and Experience

Applicants must hold current Nevada School Psychologist licensure along with a Master's degree in School Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or related field with school psychology emphasis. Two years of verified experience providing psychological services in educational settings is required, with demonstrated competency in assessment, intervention, and consultation practices.

Required qualifications include proficiency with psychological assessment tools and procedures, experience with telehealth and virtual service delivery, knowledge of evidence-based interventions for student mental health concerns, and understanding of special education evaluation processes. Strong technological skills, excellent communication abilities, and cultural competency for working with diverse student populations are essential for success in this remote position.
