Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Access Control Coordinator in Doraville, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will help manage access control, monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. This role blends customer service, communication, and attention to detail while supporting a caring culture built on teamwork, integrity, and an agile, reliable, innovative approach.

- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and/or emergency response support appropriate to the location.
- Monitor entry and exit points for employees, visitors, drivers, and deliveries, helping to verify credentials, permissions, and/or required documentation before access is granted.
- Respond to incidents, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including operational areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, as conditions vary by site.
- Support security-related operations by maintaining accurate visitor, vehicle, and/or delivery records and communicating relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
