General Description:
The DWM Summer Intern assigned to the office of Site Development will be responsible for supporting the review and processing of development applications, with a focus on residential projects. It will involve conducting GIS analysis, reviewing application materials, performing preliminary screening of building plans, and providing administrative and technical support to Engineer Coordinators and Riparian Buffer panel reviewers. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, interest in land development and environmental compliance, and ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Essential Duties & Responsibilities for the Division of Site Development:
Responsibilities: These are typical responsibilities for this position and should not be construed as exclusive or all inclusive. Provide due diligence including but not limited to reviewing available online information sources such as various maps and street view to screen incoming plans under review for nearby infrastructure and natural features such as streams. - May perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be eighteen years of age or older
- Must be authorized to work in the United States of America
- Must be a sophomore and above college student at application submission
- Minimum overall GPA 3.0
- Must attach College Transcript – Unofficial IS acceptable (NO screenshots)
- Currently pursuing a bachelors, associates or above from an accredited college or university.
- Must have at least one semester remaining at the start of the internship
- Must attach Resume (NO screenshots)
- Preferred Major: Science, Engineering
