Overview
Join our dynamic team as an IICRC Mitigation Technician and become a vital part of restoring properties and lives after fire, water, mold, or other damage events. In this energetic role, you will perform hands-on mitigation and restoration services, helping clients recover quickly and confidently. Your expertise will directly impact the safety and comfort of our customers’ homes and businesses, making a real difference every day.
Responsibilities
Perform water damage restoration, including extraction, drying, and dehumidification using specialized equipment and techniques.
Conduct fire damage cleanup, including debris removal, soot cleaning, and odor control measures.
Execute mold remediation procedures following industry standards to safely remove mold growth from affected areas.
Utilize hand tools and power tools for demolition, cleaning, and repair tasks within damaged properties.
Assist with asbestos abatement projects by following safety protocols and industry guidelines when applicable.
Clean carpets, upholstery, and other surfaces using professional cleaning methods to restore appearance and hygiene.
Support construction-related activities such as minor repairs or rebuilds to restore property integrity after damage.
Experience
Prior experience in the restoration industry or related fields such as construction or cleaning is highly preferred.
IICRC (Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification) is a requirement.
Hands-on experience with water extraction equipment, air movers, dehumidifiers, and other restoration tools is advantageous.
Familiarity with mold remediation techniques, fire cleanup processes, and asbestos abatement procedures is beneficial.
Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively in various work environments.
