We have an immediate opening for a Part-Time Medical Assistant to join our team at Shady Grove Fertility in Alpharetta, GA.

Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 7:00 AM -11:30 AM

Compensation: commensurate with experience.

In this role, the Per Diem OR/PACU Medical Assistant will:

• Assist as a scrub technician in the OR
• Utilize proper sterile and aseptic technique and setup equipment
• Plan for and prepare rooms for all procedures
• Utilize the autoclave and clean per protocol
• Provide assistance to the physician during procedures
• Comfort patients by anticipating anxieties, answering questions and providing support

Qualifications and skills include:

• High school diploma
• Completion of a formal medical assistant or scrub tech program or 3 years of experience
• Current BLS certification
• Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer
• Knowledge of office procedure and office machines (i.e. computer, fax, copier, etc.)
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate good judgement on a consistent basis
• Ability to communicate accurately and concisely
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to function as a team player
