Qualifications
- 2-5 years of corporate, partnership, individual tax experience in Public Accounting
- Knowledge of accounting principles and federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing priorities.
- Sound business judgement with the demonstrated ability to earn the confidence, trust and respect of clients and team members.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Education: Bachelor's in accounting. EA, CPA, CPA eligible or equivalent amount of experience.
Responsibilities
- Preparing and reviewing tax returns
- Performing federal and state tax research and tax planning as necessary
- Assumes responsibility for engagements
- Communicates effectively with clients and team members.
Our firm uses Thomson Reuters suite of products, UltraTax, Fixed Assets, File Cabinet/GoFileRoom, AdvanceFlow, ACS. Knowledge of these programs a plus.
We offer flexible hours for tax staff outside tax season / could be part time if preferred.
