Position Overview

The AWS Solution Architect will work with and enable TEKsystems Global Services’ sales and solutions teams and customers to accelerate their cloud (AWS) adoption journey. Driving technical solutioning of customer engagements, this individual will have an exciting opportunity to help customers maximize the benefits of the cloud (AWS) through cloud modernization. The AWS Solution Architect must be effective at working with customers, sales, partner sales. and practice CoEs to develop and close deals focused on how the customer plans to use cloud computing (AWS) to accomplish their business goals. Types of projects could include, but are not limited to, migrating and modernizing applications, including large-scale data center migrations, system integration, data augmentation, and custom application refactoring.

Working with strategic customers, the AWS Solution Architect will help them transform traditional and legacy workloads by designing modern target architectures optimized for business agility, innovation, performance, resiliency, cost, and more. Working alongside our internal teams, this role will have an understanding of our customer's key business drivers as well as the existing application architecture(s) to solutions and implementation plans that help them accomplish their key objectives.

As a crucial part of this position, the AWS Solution Architect will collaborate with Practice and Delivery as well as our internal partner teams to ensure successful creation of statements of work that successfully translates the needs of the customer while optimizing the use of our AWS Partner programs that we have access through due to Competencies and Service Delivery Programs. This role will have the ability to gain hands-on technical credibility with internal as well as customer technical leaders and will mentor other solution architects on AWS best practices.

We are seeking a highly skilled presales AWS Solution Architect with deep experience in AWS Generative AI services to join our growing cloud and AI consulting practice. This role is pivotal in shaping client engagements by designing innovative, scalable, and secure solutions that leverage AWS’s native GenAI capabilities such as Amazon Bedrock, Amazon SageMaker, and Amazon Q. This position will work closely with sales, delivery, and partner teams to understand client needs, craft compelling technical solutions, and drive adoption of AWS GenAI services across industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead technical discovery sessions with clients to understand business challenges and identify opportunities for GenAI adoption.

• Architect end-to-end solutions using AWS native GenAI services, including Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, Amazon Q, and related ML/AI tools.

• Collaborate with sales and engagement teams to develop proposals, statements of work (SOWs), and proof-of-concept (POC) strategies.

• Translate complex business requirements into scalable, secure, and cost-effective GenAI architectures.

• Present technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, articulating the business value of GenAI.

• Stay current with AWS GenAI service updates and industry trends to inform solution design and client strategy.

• Mentor internal teams and contribute to the development of reusable solution patterns and accelerators.

Basic Qualifications:

• 5 or more years of experience in cloud architecture, with at least 2 years focused on AWS GenAI services

• Proven experience designing and deploying solutions using Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, and other AWS AI/ML services

• Strong understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, vector databases, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) patterns

• Experience in presales or client-facing solutioning roles within a consulting or professional services environment

• Familiarity with cloud-native architectures, microservices, and event-driven design patterns

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional certification or AWS Certified Machine Learning – Specialty certification

• Experience with enterprise-scale GenAI use cases such as intelligent document processing, chatbots, code generation, or knowledge search

• Hands-on experience with Python, LangChain, or similar frameworks for GenAI orchestration

• Understanding of data privacy, security, and compliance considerations in GenAI deployments

• Experience working with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Atlanta, GA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $200000.00/yr.

We reserve the right to pay above or below the posted wage based on factors unrelated to sex, race, or any other protected classification.

Additional earnings may be available through incentive programs like annual bonuses, profit sharing, etc.
