  • Clearly communicate daily goals, work plans, and safety protocols with crews.
  • Proactively identify and resolve field issues or conflicts that may impact progress or quality.
  • Reference project drawings, details, and specifications to help guide scopes of work.
  • Monitor work for quality, consistency, and adherence to project standards.
  • Perform hands-on work when needed, particularly on complex or high-detail tasks.
  • Mentor junior crew members in craft standards, safe practices, and productivity.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to workplace safety and inclusivity by upholding best practices and fostering a diverse culture of mutual respect.

Site Logistics & Material Coordination

  • Track and manage materials, tools, and equipment to support uninterrupted production.
  • Coordinate site access, laydown areas, and workspace readiness with the Superintendent or GC.
  • Assist with receiving and verifying deliveries against packing lists or POs.

Safety, Field Reporting & Change Order tracking

  • Enforce safety practices and maintain OSHA compliance
  • Complete daily paperwork, track crew hours, and report any delays, incidents, or field conditions using digital tools like Procore.
  • Communicate potential change to site conditions, schedule delays, or logistical concerns

  • Ability to read and interpret construction documents, shop drawings, and installation details.
  • You are organized and an exceptional communicator with keen attention to detail.

  • Proven ability to lead crews effectively, manage priorities, and maintain clear site documentation.
  • Familiarity with Procore or other construction documentation tools
  • OSHA 30 required; SST (for NYC candidates) preferred. Can be obtained once hired.
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and able to travel to project sites across the region or country as needed
