The ideal candidate is an experienced Diesel Mechanic / Shop Service Technician who can perform essential diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of construction equipment. This role is designed for a dedicated individual who has acquired substantial technical skills and is eager to gain the knowledge and experience needed to become a competent and successful senior technician.

Key responsibilities:

As a Level 2 Service Technician, you will be responsible for:

• Performing advanced diagnostics and repairs on construction equipment

• Completing routine maintenance and required services using special tools and equipment while strictly following technical manual procedures.

• Actively participating in required Service Training programs and maintaining current knowledge of Case equipment and competitive products.

• Operating vehicles and equipment safely while accounting for all time and materials used on work orders.

• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment, ensuring the good condition of all vehicles, inventory, tools, and shop equipment.

• Completing all necessary reports and forms accurately and in conjunction with assigned duties.

• Supporting management in the pursuit of policies, goals, and objectives.

Qualifications:

Experience, Education, and Skills

• 5+ years of relevant experience in a dealership is required.

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience required.

• Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in the repair of agricultural and turf equipment.

• Demonstrated ability to perform diagnostic, repairs and maintenance.

• Must be a detail-oriented self-starter with a strong work ethic.

• A creative problem-solver with the ability to use basic computer functions.

• Proficient oral and written communication skills.
