SUMMARY: Responsible for the repair and maintenance of diesel and gasoline powered equipment and trucks, all makes and models

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES including the following. Other duties may be assigned. Responsible for the repair and maintenance of all diesel and gasoline powered equipment and trucks of the company. Will repair equipment by performing welding, electrical & electronics maintenance, air conditioning repair, air system and breaks repair as well hydraulics. Complete PM services, maintain cleanliness of truck shop. Additional duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION AND ESPERIENCE

High school education and up to one year related or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out one or two step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variable. Ability to react quickly and make decisions in an emergency situation (Roadside Breakdowns) which may involve the safety of our partners or the public.

Position requires constant standing for full shift

Both hands are required

Ability to lift weight of 80 lbs.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is constantly standing full shift and exposed to moving mechanical parts. Work is full time and employees will be exposed to airborne particles and indoor conditions of a truck repair shop. The employee is occasionally exposed to risk of shop area conditions where the climate is uncontrolled indoor/partial outdoor and the noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
