Finance - AI Intern - Summer 2026

Location: Indianapolis, IN or Atlanta, GA. This role requires associates to be in-office 1 - 2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. A Finance - AI Intern *?* will be responsible for supporting our Finance - AI team by identifying and implementing new solutions in automation and AI within our broader Finance organization. During this summer internship, the intern will have the opportunity to interact with business leaders in developing projects and strategic initiatives to further fluency with and access to AI within the finance organization.

This position is a full-time, 10-week internship (May 18th, 2026 - July 24th, 2026) program in alignment with our Enterprise-wide Summer Internship program.

How you will make an impact:

• Analyze large-scale and complex data sets fromreports todevelopstrategicrecommendationsfor business improvement

• Collaborate with team membersto prototype AI solutions for finance professionals

• Collect, analyze, and clearly document existing business processes to ensure a thorough understanding of current workflows

• Utilize the core financial analytics skill set to develop financial profiles for automation implementation

• Communicate and collaborate with internal and external business leaders

Minimum Requirements:

• Actively pursuing aBachelor'sdegree in either:Finance, Business Analytics,Data Science, Software Engineering,or related degree at an accredited university or college

• The ability to work40 hoursper week for the duration of the internship and work in-office at least once per week.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:

• Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on Excel, Word, and Access

• Workingknowledge of Python for data analysis (e.g., pandas,numpy), exposure to SQL for querying structured datasets, and/or the ability to clean, join, andvalidatemessy financial data

• Understanding of descriptive statistics, correlation vs. causation, basic regression concepts

• Basic familiarity with cloud tools or platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, Databricks)

• Knowledge of Tableau or related data visualization software

• Excellent Problem-solving, Analytical, and Organizational skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• An interest in health care and insurance
