As a Security Professional - Armed Financial Site - Front Desk - Part Time in Atlanta, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more .

As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a prominent financial institution, you will play a critical role in creating a welcoming and secure environment for all employees, visitors, and guests. Positioned at the main entry point, you will be responsible for monitoring access, verifying credentials, and providing clear guidance and information to those entering the location. Pay Rate: $20.06 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to visitors and employees by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
• Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering the premises.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences at the front desk.
• Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, including communicating with appropriate personnel and/or authorities.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity by maintaining a visible presence at the front desk.
• Answer questions and provide directions or information to visitors and employees as needed.

• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid Armed Guard Card or License.
• Have at least 6 months of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, or military roles.
• Provide a DD214 with Honorable Discharge or possess an Associates Degree or 60 college credits or a Police Academy Certificate or a Corrections Academy Certificate.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
