Project Administrator
Location: Augusta, GA
Project Duration: 1 year+
Position Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Administrator to support a major turnaround at a chemical facility. This role will provide critical administrative and logistical support to the turnaround leadership team, ensuring smooth coordination of project activities, documentation, reporting, and communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to turnaround leadership, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and taking minutes.
- Track and maintain project documentation, reports, and communications.
- Assist with onboarding and coordination of contractors and vendors.
- Support timekeeping, cost tracking, and procurement documentation processes.
- Prepare and distribute daily and weekly reports, including progress updates and KPIs.
- Maintain turnaround logs, rosters, and contact lists.
- Coordinate logistics for site access, training, and safety compliance.
- Interface with internal departments (procurement, safety, QA/QC, operations) to ensure alignment and timely information flow.
- 7+ years of administrative or project support experience in an industrial, construction, or turnaround environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Experience with Oracle systems for procurement, timekeeping, or project tracking.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Power BI for generating dashboards and visual reports.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- TWIC card and site-specific safety training may be required.
- Prior experience supporting large-scale turnarounds or capital projects.
- Familiarity with industrial safety protocols and documentation.
