About the Position
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Telemetry for a travel assignment in Georgia. The RN will be responsible for monitoring and managing patients with cardiac and complex medical conditions, ensuring high-quality patient care and timely interventions.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry and dysrhythmias
- Manage and titrate insulin drips and cardiac drips
- Follow heparin protocols and administer blood products
- Perform IV therapy and phlebotomy , including starting and maintaining IV lines
- Provide central line and peripheral line care/management
- Access and manage ports and feeding tubes
- Assist with pre and post cardiac catheterization care
- Monitor and manage patients on BiPAP, CPAP, HFNC, and nasal cannula
- Respond to cardiac monitoring alerts and medical emergencies
- Ensure accurate documentation and patient monitoring
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certification required
- Experience with cardiac monitoring and telemetry care
