The Role
We’re looking for a hands-on Infrastructure Technician to join our growing team. This role is critical to the success of every project — you’ll be installing the physical infrastructure that makes our systems work, from conduit and cabling to hardware mounting and equipment racks.
You’ll work closely with project leads and designers to ensure every job is completed safely, accurately, and on schedule. Some travel to job sites will be required (see details below).

- Read and interpret layout drawings, schematics, and site documentation
- Work safely with tools, ladders, lifts, and other equipment in various environments (indoor/outdoor)
- Perform on-site walkthroughs, clean work areas, and ensure all installations meet Macrotek standards
- Collaborate with the infrastructure team and communicate effectively with supervisors and system designers
- Troubleshoot issues in the field and solve problems to keep projects moving
- Maintain a professional attitude on job sites—punctual, dependable, and focused
Requirements
- Experience with cabling, conduit work, or AV/security system installation preferred
- Comfort using power tools, ladders, and lifts (certification a plus)
- Ability to read and follow technical drawings and instructions
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to safety
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Travel: Must be willing to travel to job sites. Travel is estimated at 25–30% , primarily regional.
What We Offer
- Competitive pay based on experience
- Health insurance, dental, and vision coverage
- 401(k) retirement plan
- Opportunities for training and advancement
- Work on exciting, high-profile projects in premium venues
- Supportive, skilled team that takes pride in doing things right
- A company culture that values professionalism, quality, and growth
