Industry : Legal Services Vaco is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join a law firm client located in midtown Atlanta. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of AP experience within a law firm environment and be proficient in Aderant along with strong MS Excel proficiency (Pivot Tables, V-Lookups, formulas, etc.). Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounts payable processes, including invoice entry, coding, approvals, and payments
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
- Ensure compliance with firm policies and procedures, including expense reimbursement and vendor onboarding/maintenance
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and reporting
- Collaborate with internal departments and vendors to ensure timely and accurate payments
- 5 years of accounts payable experience in a law firm setting
- Strong proficiency with Aderant; MS Excel skills (Pivot Tables, V-Lookups, formulas)
- Knowledge of 1099 reporting and vendor tax documentation
- Familiarity with general ledger coding and accounting principles
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
