Partners Professional is currently assisting seeking an experienced Estimator for their location in Kennesaw GA . The selected candidate will be responsible for optimizing profitability, standardized pricing and supporting the sales and production teams. This position is being offered as a direct hire, onsite at their Kennesaw GA. location, Monday -Friday with flexible hours. You must be currently located within a comfortable commuting distance from Kennesaw.

Job Responsibilities :

Estimating & Pricing

• Perform detailed take-offs from construction documents and architectural drawings

• Create and manage project estimates using company software (Macola, Synergy)

• Analyze drawings/specs to determine material, labor, shipping, and installation costs

• Establish and maintain standardized pricing tools/templates

Cost Analysis & Auditing

• Audit and update all pricing quarterly based on material costs, freight, and labor fluctuations

• Identify margin improvement opportunities and suggest price adjustments as needed

• Pull item numbers from internal databases and validate pricing accuracy in the ERP system

Collaboration & Communication

• Work cross-functionally with Account Managers, Sales, Design, and Production teams

• Support Sales during pre-bid and proposal stages with accurate and timely estimates

• Provide historical costing insights to guide future quoting and sales strategy

Operational Support

• Maintain accurate database entries for pricing, components, and assemblies

• Forecast project costs and analyze trends to support budgeting and production planning

• Propose and lead cost-saving initiatives with Procurement and Production teams

Required Qualifications:

· 5+ years estimating in construction, architectural fabrication, or manufacturing

· Proficiency in reading construction documents and architectural drawings

· Hands-on experience with ERP/estimating tools (Macola, Synergy, Excel, etc.)

· Strong background in material costing (steel, aluminum, fasteners, freight)

· Ability to create and maintain standardized price models and forecasting tools

· Excellent time management and analytical skills

· Clear and concise communicator, both written and verbal

Highly Preferred Qualifications:

• Background in QSR, architectural products, or unitized fabrication

• Experience standardizing pricing in a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment

• Familiarity with ISO or cost auditing principles
