Position Summary

The Workers’ Compensation Associate Attorney will manage a dynamic caseload while providing high-quality legal representation in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

This role is ideal for a motivated attorney with strong litigation skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering outstanding client service.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of approximately 150 workers’ compensation cases.
• Draft and submit settlement demands with appropriate supporting documentation.
• Negotiate claims with opposing counsel, insurance carriers, and other stakeholders.
• Respond to discovery requests accurately and within required deadlines.
• Conduct depositions of clients, witnesses, and expert parties.
• Represent clients in hearings, motions, and other court proceedings.
• Maintain consistent and clear communication with clients regarding case status and strategy.
• Collaborate with internal team members to ensure efficient case progression.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with the Georgia Bar (required).
• 0–3 years of workers’ compensation experience.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage a high-volume caseload.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency with legal technology in a paperless environment.
• Demonstrated integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
