Position Overview
The Production Team Member is responsible for performing a variety of tasks to support safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing operations. This position plays a key role in the production process by operating equipment, following standardized procedures, and ensuring that products meet company quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies at all times.
- Operate equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with established procedures.
- Follow all work instructions, production schedules, and quality requirements to ensure consistent output.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and support departments.
- Demonstrate the ability to work successfully within a team environment and adapt quickly to change.
- Cross-train in multiple areas of production and assist with training other team members as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace and perform routine equipment inspections to identify issues early.
- Perform basic machine functions and assist with troubleshooting minor issues to support continuous operations.
- Report all incidents immediately, including spills, injuries, property damage, safety hazards, and performance concerns.
- Prompt and regular attendance is an essential function of this position. Employees are expected to report to work on time and maintain consistent attendance in accordance with company policy.
- Must be willing to work overtime as required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet production or business needs.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management to support departmental and company objectives.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED Required.
- Minimum of less that 1 year of relevant experience Required.
- Familiarity with computers. Ability to navigate at a basic level within web-based applications.
- Forklift certification Preferred
- Overhead crane experience Preferred

- Addresses problems that are routine, somewhat repetitive, and generally solved by following clear directions and procedures and by identifying opportunities for process improvements.
- Works within general instructions and procedures. Work is monitored by supervisor/manager.
- Ability to read and write in English to understand basic safety instructions and take direction from supervisors; communicate effectively with staff and customers; and respond to basic questions.
- Ability to understand spoken English to follow basic safety instructions and take direction from supervisors; communicate effectively in basic English with staff and customers response to routine questions.
- Ability to demonstrate basic knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures with the ability to use them in routine situations. Specialized knowledge not required.
- Ability to interact respectfully with other employees, professional staff and/or external contacts to offer ideas, identify issues, obtain information, or deliver services.
- Ability to demonstrate a positive attitude and respond to requests in a timely and respectful manner.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
- Not Applicable
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Work requires close attention to task for work to be accurately completed. Intermitted breaks during the workday do not compromise the work.
- Work routine is consistent, but employee needs to be able to use judgment to respond to events several times a week.
- No substantial exposure to adverse environmental conditions
- Visual, Sensory and Auditory requirements apply to position.
- Requires exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and or up to 20 pounds of force frequently. Job is physical in nature and employees need to stand and/or move around through most of their shift.
