Commissioning Engineer
Commissioning Engineer
Rinvio is hiring a Commissioning Engineer for data center, mission critical, industrial, and advanced facility projects. This is a W-2 contract opportunity for someone who can support equipment testing, turnover, and integrated system readiness on large, fast-moving projects.
Compensation
- $52-$78/hr depending on project scope, experience, and travel profile
- Travel pay and per diem may be available depending on assignment
- Overtime may be available on approved projects
What You'll Do
- Support commissioning and startup activities for electrical and mechanical systems
- Review scripts, checklists, turnover packages, and issue logs
- Coordinate with construction, operations, and client-side teams
- Track deficiencies through testing, retesting, and closeout
- Help drive schedule-critical turnover milestones
Preferred Background
- Experience in commissioning, startup, controls, or mission critical environments
- Working knowledge of switchgear, UPS, generators, HVAC, controls, or related building systems
- Comfortable on active jobsites and in client-facing coordination settings
- Strong documentation and communication skills
