Assembler
Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find Assemblers in Gainesville. In this Assembler role, you will be responsible. Apply today if you meet the qualifications listed below.
In You’ll Be Responsible For:
- Assemble wire cables per drawings, schematics, and written work instructions.
- Measure, cut, strip, crimp, and wires using hand tool.
- Perform continuity and functional testing of assembled wiring systems.
- Read and interpret technical documents including wiring diagrams, blueprints, and job orders.
- Label wires and cables according to specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and comply with safety standards.
- Inspect completed work for accuracy and quality, identifying and correcting any defects.
What You’ll Need:
- Previous experience in assembly.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions.
- Basic knowledge of electrical components, tools, and measurement devices.
- Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Perks:
- Contract to hire opportunity.
- 1st shift schedule- Shift: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm.
- Pay rate: $16.50.
