Assembler

Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find Assemblers in Gainesville. In this Assembler role, you will be responsible. Apply today if you meet the qualifications listed below.

In You’ll Be Responsible For:

• Assemble wire cables per drawings, schematics, and written work instructions.
• Measure, cut, strip, crimp, and wires using hand tool.
• Perform continuity and functional testing of assembled wiring systems.
• Read and interpret technical documents including wiring diagrams, blueprints, and job orders.
• Label wires and cables according to specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and comply with safety standards.
• Inspect completed work for accuracy and quality, identifying and correcting any defects.

What You’ll Need:

• Previous experience in assembly.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions.
• Basic knowledge of electrical components, tools, and measurement devices.
• Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Perks:

• Contract to hire opportunity.
• 1st shift schedule- Shift: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm.
• Pay rate: $16.50.
