What You’ll Do as an Information & Technology Trainer
As an Information & Technology Trainer at Lewis Services, you’ll:
Conduct training sessions, workshops, and presentations on technology and software topics, both in-person and virtually
Evaluate the impact of training programs and provide feedback to partnering departments to improve training retention
Deliver specialized training on platforms such as the LMS, Microsoft Office, EHS Insights, Tiempo, and other systems as required
Adapt training methods and materials to meet different learning styles and organizational needs
Mentor and support employees as they apply new skills, serving as a go-to technology expert and field resource
Facilitate practical, hands-on training and demonstrations in real-world settings
Visit divisions across the company footprint to build relationships and ensure consistent adoption of technology tools
Partner with corporate departments to learn new systems and roll out training initiatives
Assist with implementing additional training programs related to tree care, spray, or other safety topics as needed
Participate in continuous improvement and professional development through certifications, classes, and conference
What You Bring
Strong knowledge and experience with technology and software used in the field environment
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate, present, and assess learning outcomes
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally across departments
Proven organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple training projects
Adaptability and critical-thinking skills to adjust training approaches to diverse environments
Working knowledge of technology platforms commonly used by utility companies for tree care
Problem-solving mindset and self-motivation when operating with limited field resources
Willingness to travel within the company footprint
- Bilingual (Spanish – written and spoken)
Preferred
Associate’s, Bachelor’s, or equivalent certification in a related field (or ability to obtain within one year of hire)

Ability to:
Sit, stand, walk, reach, and perform repetitive keystrokes regularly
Occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb stairs, and lift/move up to 25 lbs.
Travel regularly, including overnight stays via ground or air

Responsabilidades
Lo que harás como Instructor de Información y Tecnología (Information & Technology Trainer)
Como Instructor de Información y Tecnología en Lewis Services , deberás:
- Impartir sesiones de capacitación, talleres y presentaciones sobre temas tecnológicos y de software, tanto presenciales como virtuales.
- Evaluar el impacto de los programas de capacitación y proporcionar retroalimentación a los departamentos asociados para mejorar la retención del aprendizaje.
- Ofrecer capacitación especializada en plataformas como el LMS , Microsoft Office , EHS Insights , Tiempo y otros sistemas según sea necesario.
- Adaptar los métodos y materiales de capacitación para satisfacer diferentes estilos de aprendizaje y necesidades organizacionales.
- Orientar y apoyar a los empleados mientras aplican nuevas habilidades, actuando como experto de referencia en tecnología y recurso de campo.
- Facilitar capacitaciones prácticas y demostraciones en entornos reales.
- Visitar divisiones en todo el territorio de la empresa para construir relaciones y asegurar la adopción constante de herramientas tecnológicas.
- Colaborar con los departamentos corporativos para aprender nuevos sistemas e implementar iniciativas de capacitación.
- Apoyar la implementación de programas de capacitación adicionales relacionados con el cuidado de árboles, aplicaciones químicas o temas de seguridad, según sea necesario.
- Participar en la mejora continua y el desarrollo profesional mediante certificaciones, cursos y conferencias.

- Conocimiento práctico de las plataformas tecnológicas comúnmente utilizadas por empresas de servicios públicos para el cuidado de árboles.
- Mentalidad de resolución de problemas y automotivación, especialmente al operar con recursos limitados en campo.
- Disposición para viajar dentro del territorio de la empresa.
Preferido:
- Título de asociado, licenciatura o certificación equivalente en un campo relacionado (o capacidad para obtenerlo dentro del primer año de contratación).
- Bilingüe (español – escrito y hablado).
