We’re seeking a driven Vice President of Sales to lead our apartment/multifamily vertical and strengthen our presence company wide.
Position Overview
The Vice President of Sales will oversee the sales process for apartment and multifamily projects, from strategy to execution, ensuring consistent revenue growth and a strong pipeline of opportunities. This role is dedicated to the multifamily/apartment sector and requires a hands-on leader who thrives in the field, builds lasting relationships with property management groups and associations, and empowers a sales team to perform at their best.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, train, and mentor a team of sales representatives focused on the multifamily/apartment vertical.
Attend and actively participate in apartment association events (Bay Area, Atlanta, Dallas, and other regional markets) alongside your reps.
Provide field training: visit properties, door-knock, and coach live sales pitches to strengthen team performance.
Travel between markets as needed to support sales efforts and expand relationships.
Build and maintain strong partnerships with apartment associations, property management firms, and ownership groups.
Drive revenue growth through association engagement, relationship-building, and coaching while ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
Qualifications
Proven sales leadership experience with a history of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
Multifamily/apartment association background required (AAA, BAAA, AAGD, NAA, or similar).
Demonstrated involvement in associations/events with an existing network of industry contacts.
Strong preference for candidates with an established Rolodex/book of business in the apartment association community.
Industry experience in roofing, construction, paving, painting, general contracting, or related services acceptable if association network is strong.
Skilled in training, coaching, and holding sales teams accountable; prior leadership experience strongly preferred.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
Familiarity with CRM systems and sales analytics to track performance and drive strategy.
