Interim Laboratory Manager Needed in Augusta, GA!

The Position

• An Interim Laboratory Manager is needed to provide leadership and operational oversight for a hospital-based core laboratory while permanent recruitment is underway.
• Reporting to the Director, this leader will oversee approximately one direct report and twenty-five FTEs.
• Key responsibilities include utilizing working knowledge of Roche chemistry instrumentation to quickly support daily laboratory operations, maintaining workflow and performance within the Epic Beaker LIS, and providing strong people leadership to manage staff and sustain department stability until a permanent leader is onboarded.
• The ideal candidate will have strong clinical laboratory leadership experience, familiarity with Roche chemistry instrumentation, and experience using Epic Beaker LIS. Must be highly organized, patient-focused, and able to adapt quickly to changing needs. Excellent communication skills will be critical.
• Must be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• ASCP certification preferred.
• Progressive clinical laboratory experience with leadership responsibilities, including experience in core laboratory operations and chemistry testing, required.

Pay Details

• Pay Range: $160,000 - $170,000 annually.
• The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation. Additionally, some candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, depending on the specific role, including but not limited to health insurance coverage and retirement benefits.
• The listed base compensation range represents a good faith estimate of potential earnings at the time of this job posting and may be subject to future adjustments.
