Make a difference as a Certified Addiction Recovery Empowerment SpecialistAs a CARES Recovery Specialist with Stand Inc., your role is essential in building our Recovery Community Organization, ensuring adherence to contract requirements while fostering vital partnerships across Metro Atlanta. You'll cultivate and maintain relationships with a diverse array of stakeholders, including crisis centers, treatment facilities, shelters, and hospitals, enhancing our outreach and impact. Your help facilitate engaging presentations at coalition meetings and local entities, conducting group meetings that empower individuals in recovery and their families. You will create a welcoming environment that prioritizes safety and inclusivity for all participants and staff.
Additionally, you will engage in continual professional development through training and conferences, collaborating with fellow CARES staff to innovate and enhance programs. Stand Inc . also fully supports your efforts in developing a robust volunteer program, ensuring peers have access to essential services and resources on their recovery journeys.
Are you the Certified Addiction Recovery Empowerment Specialist we're looking for?To excel as a CARE Specialist at Stand Inc., a variety of skills are essential for success in this impactful role. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are critical, enabling you to build meaningful relationships with stakeholders, individuals in recovery, and their families. Your ability to listen actively and empathize will foster trust and promote open dialogue within group meetings and presentations. Additionally, strong organizational skills will help you manage multiple tasks effectively, from coordinating outreach initiatives to facilitating training sessions. A collaborative mindset is also crucial, as you will work closely with other staff to develop innovative programs.
You must have personal experience with substance abuse recovery and possess problem-solving abilities to navigate challenges and create a safe, supportive environment for your community. Lastly, a commitment to professional growth and adaptability will empower you to stay informed about best practices in the behavioral health field, ensuring that your contributions are effective and relevant.
