Precertification Specialist
Job Title: Precertification Specialist
Location: Albany, GA
Compensation: $17.00 - $22.00 / hour based on experience
Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).
Qualifications: Healthcare/Health insurance knowledge, customer service background
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
Job Description:
- Initiate pre certification with insurance payers
- Collect all required documentation for a prior authorization
- Follow up on pre certifications that have not been responded to
- Investigate and correct any authorizations that were denied
- Speaking with patients and insurance companies over the phone
