Assembler- 2nd Shift
Production Supervisor __ The work model for the role is: Onsite, Flowery Branch, GA Your role and responsibilities:
- Assemble and build electric motors and subassemblies by installing rotors, stators, brackets, brush rigging, cable caps, brakes, tachometers, blower motors, and other accessories according to specifications.
- Test, inspect, and troubleshoot motors by performing routine electrical and mechanical tests, completing required documentation, and correcting defects identified during assembly or testing.
- Finish and prepare products for shipment by machining and fitting components as needed, painting to customer requirements, applying nameplates, labels, and warning tags, conducting final inspections, and crating motors.
- Maintain a safe and efficient work environment by performing preventative and corrective maintenance on assembly equipment, following safe factory practices, and applying knowledge of motor assembly techniques and basic shop mathematics.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; 1 Year of industrial or military experience, or vocational/technical education; motor manufacturing experience preferred. Prior leadership experience preferred with the ability to set high performance standards for self and others.
- Adaptability and organization: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable to change, with a willingness to cross-train and maintain a positive, team-focused attitude.
- Technical and operational proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Must pass a background and drug screen and have valid U.S. work authorization. Proficiency in reading, speaking, and writing English is essential for maintaining a safe work environment.
- Regular attendance and availability for overtime are essential job functions.
