NOTE: THIS ROLE IS CONTRACT-HIRE AND YOU MUST CURRENTLY RESIDE IN A COMMUTABLE DISTANCE TO BUFORD, GA. AS THIS ROLE IS 100% ONSITE.
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and polished Benefits Administrator to join our team, specializing in Leave of Absence (LOA) management. This critical, fast-paced role will manage the end-to-end LOA process for a nationwide employee base, ensuring strict compliance with all federal and multi-state laws. The ideal candidate will be ready to hit the ground running and serve as a subject matter expert in statutory leave regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Leave Management: Manage the full cycle of all employee Leaves of Absence, including FMLA, ADA, Short-Term Disability (STD), and state-specific statutory leaves across a multi-state operation (with preference for experience in NY, NJ, and GA).
- Vendor and Stakeholder Partnership: Serve as the primary point of contact and liaison for all LOA cases, frequently partnering with our external leave management vendor ( Prudential ) and internal stakeholders, including payroll and production managers.
- Case Administration and Compliance: Ensure all leave cases are compliant with relevant laws and company policies. Utilize established processes and templates to execute clear communication regarding leave status and required actions.
- Payment and Payroll Coordination: Responsible for daily execution and monitoring of supplemental and benefit payments related to leaves. Coordinate with payroll to ensure timely and accurate payment disbursement and manage the collection of benefit repayments .
- Systems and Reporting: Actively monitor leave status in multiple systems, including the Prudential Portal (training provided) and internal systems like SAP SuccessFactors . Utilize Microsoft Power BI to generate accurate reports, visuals, and graphics for management.
- Process Improvement: Participate in the continuous improvement of the LOA process, documenting and following standard operating procedures (SOPs), and contributing to the global benefits knowledge base.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of direct, hands-on experience managing Leaves of Absence (LOA), including FMLA, ADA, and Short-Term Disability, ideally within a national or multi-state operational environment.
- Proven understanding of statutory Leave Laws across multiple states (e.g., NY, NJ, GA).
- Highly polished and comfortable communicating effectively with employees and managers at all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency with HRIS/Payroll systems (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors) and strong technical aptitude, including familiarity with MS Office (PowerPoint/Spreadsheets) and reporting tools like Power BI for visual data generation.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a high volume of cases, ensuring accuracy and regulatory integrity.
