We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Trauma & Acute Care Surgeon to join our respected, physician-led team in Gainesville, GA. This is a unique opportunity to be part of an innovative program within a nationally recognized health system.

Practice Overview
• NGMC Gainesville: 700-bed, multi-state regional referral, Level 1 Trauma Center
• Join 7 double-boarded trauma/acute care surgeons + 4 orthopedic traumatologists
• 24-hour in-house APP coverage (11 providers)
• 16-bed surgical/trauma ICU with daily multi-disciplinary rounds
• 32-bed dedicated TACS unit
• 227,000+ ED visits annually (153,000 at Gainesville campus)
• 3,000+ annual trauma patients in TQIP registry
• 2,400+ Acute Care Surgery cases annually
• Home to an ACGME-accredited General Surgery Residency Program

Candidate Requirements

• BC/BE in General Surgery (ABMS)
• BC/BE in Surgical Critical Care (ABMS)
• ATLS certification
• Strong team-oriented mindset and commitment to growth
• Willingness to participate in outreach to rural hospitals and EMS partners
