We are seeking a full-time Lab Tech/Support Staff Member to join our probation team in Cumming, GA! You will primarily conduct on-site alcohol & drug tests for misdemeanor offenders and assist with general office duties. Due to the nature of the work and the population being screened, we need a female applicant to fill this position.
Responsibilities:
- Greet offenders and process administrative documents
- Obtain urine samples from misdemeanor offenders for court-ordered alcohol & drug tests
- Document test results
- Accept & process payments
- Resolve issues for clients via phone, in person, or electronically
- Track customer issues and resolutions
- Schedule appointments
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in criminal justice, social services, customer service, or other related fields is preferred
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
- Positive and professional demeanor
- Ability to work independently
- Reliable
