Area Sales Manager

We are seeking an Area Sales Manager to join our Team with a starting salary of $60K - $70K with quarterly bonus and allowances.

HomeTowne Studios has been a leader in providing quality extended hotel stays. The company manages hotels in 20 different states. Our HomeTowne properties were renovated in 2018 and we continue to improve the quality as well as the guest and employee experience. By enhancing our properties and training techniques, we have made our managed hotels a better place for our guests to stay and a better place for our employees to work.
Specific Requirements:
- Under general direction, conduct sales activities related to selling guest rooms to build hotel occupancy and revenue.
- Demonstrate initiatives in finding new business and new contracts within existing accounts resulting in revenue
- Build and Manage relations with clients and designated accounts.
- Leads on site inspections by customers, performs outside sale calls to develop leads.
- Analyze sales statistics with Leadership, to determine sales potential, inventory requirements and sale goals.
- Develop a sales plan that addresses new business development, product management from sales and marketing perspectives, strategic sales alliances, and partnerships with companies.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Experience:
- Preferably 1 year experience in extended stay hotel sales.
- Bachelor's Degree in hospitality or Sales and Marketing Management preferred
- Experience at successfully increasing revenues and delivering results.
- Ability to operate independently, with minimal direction and exceptional support.
- Valid Driver's license required to Travel within assigned area.
- Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
