Veterinary Assistant (Moreland)

What You'll Do
As a Veterinary Assistant, you'll play an important role in both patient care and client experience .
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with surgical and dental procedures , including patient prep and recovery
- Supporting exam room flow with patient handling and appointment prep
- Maintaining accurate and detailed medical records
- Communicating with clients during check-in, treatment plan discussions, and discharge instructions
- Collecting lab samples and assisting with diagnostics
- Performing radiographs and assisting with treatments
- Anticipating team needs to help maintain an efficient daily schedule
Schedule
- Full-time, 5/8 schedule
- Monday-Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- No weekends!
- Compensation: $18-22 per hour, for each hour worked*
- Bonus package: $500 for those with 3+ years of consecutive, current experience

What We're Looking For
- 1+ year of veterinary experience in a clinical setting
- Strong multitasking and communication skills
- A positive, team-oriented attitude
Hands-on experience with:
- Radiology
- Surgical setup and assisting
- Phlebotomy
- Subcutaneous injections
- Laboratory sample collection
- Inpatient care
